I still remember , when I was eight years old , during one of my journey into the woods with my grandparents , I successfully captured a rather large snapping turtle and brought it to my grandparent's house and make it as my official pet .
My grandfather came to me to see what mischief I might be pursuing and he suddenly took out the pencil out of his shirt and poked the turtle under his shell until he extended his head and promptly bit the end of the pencil completely off.
Seriously I was very shocked !
my tokwan said
" ok now you know what your turtle can do , so if you keep sticking your fingers in his mouth is it your fault or his fault ?"
kalau ikut loghat Kedah more or less macam ni la
" la ni hang tau apa yg menatang ni blh buat , kalau hang bg jari hang dan dia tokak , salah sapa ?"
As an eight years old , I know if I keep sticking my fingers into his mouth , of course it is my fault . I'm pleased to tell you all that as of this writing, I'am still in possession of all ten fingers . :)
So, nak habaq kat sini many of us forget the wisdom of the turtle, and we get bitten time by time. We don't fail because we don' know what to do , we fail because we don't do what we know. If I keep sticking my fingers in the turtle's mouth , I will continue to lose my fingers .
#if we want a different result , take a different step okay . :)
